About Rumi
We’re pleased to introduce this sweet, caring soul, Rumi.
Rumi is a gentle loving girl and is the perfect companion for a family who wants a quiet friendly pup who has basic manners and is house trained.
This girl has long lanky legs that go on forever and is a very slender whippet type build.
Her light brown kind loving eyes draw you in with each gaze, along with her smudged eyeliner look, she shows so much adoration for her humans and is just such a beautiful girl.
Rumi is currently living with two foster brothers and a foster cat sibling. Rumi loves to play confidently with her younger foster brother and shows how much she cares for her older foster brother, especially when he gets roused on, she showers him with kisses checking that he is OK.
Once Rumi gets to know you, she will smooch you happily, she is looking for a caring and compassionate home that will help to continue to build her confidence and understand that she may be a bit shy when meeting new people.
Rumi has shown that she bonds incredibly strong with her ‘special person’ and is looking for her forever companion to shower with affection. Rumi needs an understanding owner who will be happy to work with her to become more independent and outgoing.
For her adopters this will prove easy and rewarding as Rumi is very intelligent, keen to please and she loves getting praise and treats. Rumi is an inside/outside dog and is not one to be left alone in the back yard for long periods of time as long as she is included in family activities, she will be a wonderful companion pet. Any affection shown to her is returned many times over.

To ensure a reply to enquiries about adoption, please tell us a little about yourself and your location. Interstate adoption is available with transportation at adopter’s expense.
If you are renting your home, please ensure you have approval for a pet before submitting your application.

Meet the animal and chat to the foster carer to make sure this animal is the right one for you, your home, family and circumstances.
We recommend you have a chat as a family and a think, make sure everyone is on board and happy with the choice to add the animal to your family.
Contact the team to advise your decision either way....if this one isn't the right fit we will work with you to try and find the best match.
If this is the one, we can start the adoption process. Complete the application to adopt and promptly return the application. A home/yard check may be required by one of our team members, if this is not possible photos showing fenced and undercover areas will be required. Once application is approved, you will be invoiced. Pay the adoption fees via electronic transfer, send proof of payment to admin.
We will advise the you and foster carer the animal is clear to leave and you can arrange collection of your newest family member.
*We do have a "cooling off" period please see these terms on adoption application form.
Please note; We do offer interstate adoptions where suitable for the animal in care. All transport costs are at the adopters expense. However we will, where possible, assist with airport transfers. In liu of a meet and greet interstate adopters must have a phone interview/conversation with the foster carer. Yard/Home photos will be required with all interstate applications.
