About Pearl Aspen
Pearl Aspen (usually just called Pearl) is the dork of the house. And the klutz. She's one of the sweetest, gentlest, and most delicate natured cats her foster carers have ever cared for. And also has a very contrary penchant for experiencing her environment with her mouth.
It's sometimes playful, sometimes more intense, but quite easy to stop if you're not interested in playing with her that way. She's also quite "handsy," but rarely uses her claws.
She has a very chill, independent disposition most of the time, and absolutely loves affection and snuggles as well, and makes a great cuddle buddy. She's also the queen of sleeping in funny positions, which has been a fantastic source of entertainment for her foster carers.
She enjoys being groomed/brushed, loves playing with her mousie or engaging in play where you're on the other end of the toy, loves being up high, and is very curious about human food. She's developed a taste for double brie and smoked salmon, and loves to investigate all meals.
This little angel doesn't have a meow. She mostly trills, and only very occasionally squeaks. She also makes cute whistling sounds from her nose that are an absolute delight.
Pearl would probably suit just about any household from a young family (as she's pretty tolerant), to a solo senior person looking for a great companion. She was hand-raised as a neo, so she's used to being with her person and being handled a lot. And will also demand attention sometimes.
She's not a big fan of the great outdoors. So she wouldn't be a good fit for someone who's wanting an adventure cat, but doesn't mind catio time with a friend.
Having another feline friend in the house would be ideal, but potentially not crucial, Pearl was an orphan and is very human focussed. You could adopt her with her good friend Mario who she's been with since they were 6 weeks old, whose profile is here: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1044189. Or get her as a buddy for an existing cat or a gentle cat loving dog because she gets along with just about everyone (with the proper introduction!).
Pearl Aspen is a healthy raw/high quality fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000016220885, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption. Her adoption fee also includes her second vaccination at one of our rescue vets.
