About Spike
Introducing Spike, a vibrant 7-month-old tabby with a shimmering coat of exquisite stripes, he's an irresistible little bundle of energy, purrs, and playtime! With his short-haired tabby charm and sparkling eyes, he's certain to steal your heart in no time.
Spike is a genuine love-bug with a motor-like purr that will serenade you faster than any lullaby. He possesses a strong penchant for cuddling, making him an adorable snuggle buddy. At night, Spike likes to curl up near your head, when he's not snoozing, Spike is energetic and loves to play, his favorite game being a good chase after a wand toy.
Spike is almost always at the door waiting to greet you after a long day.
Spike enjoys the company of other playful cats and would love to have a home with a younger feline or one that shares his spirited love for play. He adapts well to multi-cat households, although he has not been tested with dogs. Therefore, a home with just cats would be ideal for him.
Are you ready to offer this bouncing bundle of joy a loving new family? Spike promises a kaleidoscope of cuddles, intrigue, and unforgettable companionship. He seems intent on making every moment joyously purr-fect for his new family.
What are you waiting for? Spike is all set to meet you!
Medical notes
Spike was born with a compressed chest cavity, meaning that some of his organs sit in a different area than they are supposed to - he has been assessed by a vet several times and they do not believe it will affect his quality of life.
Due to this condition his heart works a little harder than your ordinary cat, it is a higher risk for him to go under anesthetic and his play does need to be somewhat restricted; we don't want him to work his heart too hard, however to date he has still been a playful kitten without any issues.
We can of course provide his previous medical assessments.
Adoption details
When someone contacts us to apply for an animal we will send an application form to be completed. When we receive a completed application form we will share this with the foster carer to approve the applicant.
We will then organise a meet & greet with the applicant and the foster carer to meet the animal, learn about their routine, behaviours and what they eat, drink, etc.
After the meet & greet the applicant is contacted to see if they want to proceed with the application and the foster carer approves the applicant.
We will then complete paperwork, payment, and organise a time to have the animal picked up.
Animals are then adopted on a 2 week trial, during which we stay in touch and provide support for the new adopter.
Once adopted we will send through vet records & paperwork and transfer their microchip.
We offer communication and support throughout the fostering & adoption process.
