About Ragtime
Hi I am Ragtime! I was brought to Ark by a breeder and have had very little socialisation. It is unfortunate but I am a little shy. But I believe with the right special person I will gain confidence and love my family. I am now confident with my foster carer, a toddler, cats and I love my cattle dog foster brother. I go to them for lots of pats and occasionally my foster carer will hold me for big bear hugs.
While I am shy I have shown no aggression at all. I do have a relaxed personality but I will take time to gain confidence. Look at me giving a bear hug to my foster carer.
You’ll notice I close my eyes a lot, it’s something I do when I’m nervous. My foster carer wants me to open those big blue eyes I have.
I am a fluffball as you can see. A Purebred MINK SEALPOINT Ragdoll. I have beautiful sky blue eyes that contrast against my black face. Long silky hair with a woolly undercoat and a beautiful long plumbed tail. My foster carer hasn’t needed to brush me! I take care of myself mostly.
I currently live with young children, cats and a large dog. All I need from my special person is food, some extra patience and love to ensure I have the confidence to thrive into the beautiful boy I am. Can you help me find that person?

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please click on the green "Enquire about ...", button, tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer the cat, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
