Hi my name is Amaya!

I need to find a forever family and I'm going to love them, like I do my foster family. I'm very affectionate and love my cuddles, I don't mind cats or other dogs but I can also get by without them. For some reason my foster parents don’t let me sleep on the bed or the couch and that’s where I would prefer to be. I can’t seem to convince them that I don’t take up much room! When I grow up I'm going to be a big girl, but for now I'm still a puppy. I never met my dad but think he may have been a basketballer.

If I’m not occupied I am going to want something to chew, goats horns are great. I love to play and I think I'll make it great family pet. I will need some more training because right now I only know the basics, I can sit and can sometimes drop or stay. I do walk very well on lead but new things can still scare me sometimes. I love to go for a ride in the car with my foster dad and look quietly out the window.

In the right light people might think I'm a very rich chocolate lab mix rather than black because my coat is so luscious and soft. My foster dad says I do have a mischievous side, he thinks I will be a real character when I’m older.
