About Beethoven
Our Big Boy Beethoven is still looking for his forever home.
Beethoven is as deaf as a post and a little bit ditzy.
Being deaf doesn’t bother Beethoven because he has always been deaf – and it really shouldn’t bother you.
Because apart from his deafness he is an absolute dream of a dog – well apart from the ditzy bit ( we won’t claim he is the sharpest tool in the shed)
Due to his lack of hearing, he is very focused and dedicated to his people, you will not find a more loving or attentive boy on this planet.
No judging you for any bad singing in the car or shower here – this boy is happy to just to share your joy and be your support act.
He is the sweetest boy - a great big softy just trying to find his place in a new world.
Beethoven has not had much life experience and can be a bit of a Clumsy Clutz as he pads around learning what the good life is.
He adores sleeping up high so he can see the world he can't hear and can often be found on top of his crate snoring like a buffalo.
He’s loving this new feeling of being loved and is proving to be a real attention-seeking,soft snuggly boy who will follow you around like a lazy buffalo.
Not sure if buffalos follow you around – but buffalo seems to be a good descriptor for him so Beethoven the Buffalo he is.
He’s still young so loves to play with his toys and is currently getting 1-2 walks a day.
Beethoven loves other dogs but being deaf he can be a bit much for some as he has little spacial awareness often plonking his hefty round bottom in places other dogs don’t appreciate.
He can get told off often by less patient dogs as he is oblivious to warning growls – bless his big buffalo socks.
He really has no idea about his size so a house with tiny kids won’t be ideal as and he’s still learning what he can and cannot do.
Beethoven will be the best dog for someone laid back looking for a best buddy – you just need a sense of humour and some patience to help him there.
Ready for Meets and greet at The Gap – he is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with his flea and tick treatments.
Beethoven is a mastiff x – maybe 2 years old and his adoption fee is $545.
If you think you are a perfect match to this very special boy, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the amazing life you could share with him.
