About Hash STA012515
Introducing Hash, a stunningly beautiful boy with mesmerizing blue eyes that make you want to get lost in them. But it's not just his striking looks that will capture your heart - his adorable demeanor and friendly personality will make you fall even more in love.
A little bit on the shy side, Hash might take a little while to get comfortable in new surroundings. But once he warms up, he loves nothing more than a good ol' grooming session followed by a hearty meal. His love for food is well-known, trust us, the way to his heart is definitely through his stomach!
Hash enjoys attention, but he values his independence too, so he will spend time napping and playing alternatively. Being white, he needs to be indoor only to keep his nose and ears from sun damage. Being all white with blue eyes often denotes deafness in cats, but don't let that minor detail make you overlook him. Yes, he's deaf, but boy can he make up for it with plenty of smooches and high-fives!
Hash will be most comfortable in a home without young children, as he could be easily startled. Instead, a serene adult household with a relaxed lifestyle would fit Hash perfectly. He is searching for a family where he will be cherished, protected, and loved unconditionally, as he himself has so much love to give.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
