About Rosie
Rosie is a happy, wiggly, joyful little lady. She is happy to use a dog door, good with other friendly dogs, not familiar with cats, sleeps quietly overnight, ok with being left alone, not a yapper, good with strangers, not okay with being cold!
Rosie has been someone's best friend but sadly needs to find another friend to care for her due to the rental crisis. We hope to find her a similar life to the one she is enjoying now.
Rosie is quiet and isn’t a barker, only when someone knocks at the door.
Rosie is sociable and loves people especially kids, a scratch under the chin and she is all yours.
Rosie likes to go for a walk and loves to sniff everything she passes.
Rosie also sleeps during the day in her crate which she regards as her sanctuary, her safe place, so the door is left open during the day. She has a dog door that fits into a sliding door so she can come and go from inside to outside at her will. The crate and the dog door will go with her.
Rosie has allergies, she is allergic to chicken, beef, kibble and grass. Antihistamines during the summer and spring help her.
She eats raw lamb, turkey, pork, roo and also kidney, liver, heart and other secreting organs. Along with this she has cooked and raw vegetables, fruit and bones and turkey necks. She eats from a slow feeding bowl or by finding food that is scattered about the garden, as she is a guts!
Rosie is a beautiful little dog with a lovely nature who, with time to settle will make a fabulous best girlfriend for her new human.
Medical notes
Rosie is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
