One of the sweetest girls going around. Evie had a very rough start to life which she is working to overcome every day. While slow to warm up to new people and environments she is the sweetest and cuddliest girl once she is comfortable with you. Evie was mistreated by a man in her early life meaning it takes a little longer for any males to gain her trust but with patience she will love you just the same as the ladies.
Arriving in the rescue at around 3 months of age it has taken a long time to build her confidence in the world and it will be an ongoing process in a new home. Evie is a tall and lanky pup and learning is her favourite thing. She is a crazy smart chick who can open and will open every door. Steal food while your sleeping, including and not limited to everything in the fruit bowl. Love swimming in creeks and a quiet beach. Not a huge fan of the waves but loves running with her gangly legs down the sand with your by her side.
Cuddles on the couch with chest scratches and a head massage are in her top 10 list and she will let you know when to stop. She has the goofiest smile with all her teeth and it takes all your self control not to laugh!
Evie is looking for a quiet home with a human/s who will be patient with her until she is ready to trust. A home willing to put her super smart brain to work challenging her daily. Evie get’s along best with other male dogs as with other dogs she is a dominant female. Being a large puppy at heart she is a little bit boisterous so older kids in the home would be best.
