About Mitzi - 9 Month Old Shih Tzu (Trial)
Looking for the perfect snuggle buddy…. look no further! Meet Mitzi, a sweet and playful 9-month-old Shih Tzu looking for her forever home.
Mitzi is a little 6kg girl with a fluffy black and white coat and the most adorable teethy smile. She loves to play with toys, go for short walks, and snuggle up on the couch with her favourite humans. Mitzi is an energetic puppy but is very happy to have long naps and sleeps very well through the night. Mitzi is a social butterfly and gets along well with other small dogs (and trying with bigger, gentle dogs), and children.
She is a quick learner and is already working on her basic commands, with sitting about to be mastered. Mitzi is doing well with her house training; she will let you know by going to the door that she needs to go and rarely has accidents inside. Mitzi is so excited to meet new people and is a confident little pup that loves to explore inside and outside and smell all the smells. She loves to watch and chase birds with her funny little underbite. Most of all, she loves to be always close to her favourite humans.
Mitzi would thrive in a loving home where she can receive plenty of attention, play time and owners that are committed to continue her training. She would make a wonderful addition to any family looking for a furry companion to bring joy and happiness into their lives. Do you have a doggy-shaped hole missing in your family? Let Mitzi fill it. And if you already have dogs, Mitzi would love a doggy sibling to keep her company.
Her ideal home would allow her to live inside and have a yard for her to explore and do her business. At this stage of her puppy life, Mitzi needs a home where her family are home most of the day, her happy place is having someone to keep her company.
Mitzi is in foster care in Umina Beach, Central Coast, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing at the end of July.
Her adoption fee is $1000 which covers her desexing. She’s vaccinated, and treated for intestinal worms and fleas.
