About Keats - Meet me at Vets on Parker Templestowe
Ah, gentle soul, I am Keats, a spirited and whimsical little girl with a boundless well of energy and a heart full of play. In my world, even the most mundane objects—a discarded cloth, a crumpled paper—transform into delightful playthings, each a sonnet waiting to be explored.
Like a devoted companion, I shall be at your heels the moment you cross the threshold, my affection as constant as the stars. I follow you around the house, a tiny muse seeking your presence, yearning for your attention, your gentle pats, and your warm cuddles.
Beware, though, for in my joyous exuberance, I may weave between your feet, a clumsy dancer in this poetic ballet of life. Thus, I may not befit a home where fragility dwells, lest my playful nature become a hazard.
But oh, the joy we shall share! My sweet disposition and loving heart will fill your days with laughter and light. So come, embrace the poetry of life with me, Keats, your little muse, and let us write our own verse of love and companionship.

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
