About Julie
Hi there! My name is Julie, and I'm a 1-year-and-6-month-old black beauty with a medium coat that glistens in the sunlight.
I take pride in my sleek, shiny fur, but it does require some regular brushing to keep me looking my best-several times a week should do the trick.
I'm a firm believer in the simple life. Lounging in sunlit spots, gently purring, and enjoying a quiet moment are some of my favorite pastimes. I'm quite the social butterfly when it comes to other cats and get along fabulously with my feline friends. I'm also okay with kids, as long as they're 7 years or older and understand the importance of respecting my space.
I'm loving by nature, always ready for a cuddle or a gentle headbutt to show my affection. If you're looking for a companion who appreciates the simple pleasures and brings a calming presence to your home, then I'm the purrfect match for you. I can't wait to meet you and start our cozy life together!
To book a meet and greet with Julie please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
