This gorgeous girl has formed a special bond with her carers two-year-old son, James, showcasing her gentle and loving nature.
Mae is a sweet and sociable companion who enjoys being around people and loves a good scratch. However, she also appreciates her alone time and values her personal space.
Mae will also let you know when she wants a scratch with a gentle no claw tap to the ankle or a very gentle bite to your hand to make sure you keep patting her. She has not scratched or bitten any of us in an aggressive or harmful manner, further showcasing her gentle nature.
After her recent desexing surgery, Mae has been recuperating in a crate, which she has come to regard as her safe haven. She freely comes and goes from it during the day, feeling secure and comfortable.
Mae has a fondness for high places. She loves lounging on our cat ottoman, either snuggled inside or perched on top, where she can survey her surroundings from a safe vantage point.
Mae is a lovely cat and would thrive in a single-cat household or with another female cat friend. While Mae gets along well with our cat Millie, she doesn’t get along with our male foster cat Nacho and will actively avoid him.
She is a great cat and has adjusted well to our chaotic household from the moment she came into it. She is not phased by much, gentle with the kids, and doesn’t seem too scared by loud noises including the vacuum cleaner.
