About Bria
Meet stunning Miss Social Butterfly Bria! This girl has a personality to die for. At 12 months of age , she is a happy-go-lucky, delightful pooch, always wagging her tail and ready to give lots of smoochy kisses if you let her. A smaller medium in size, Bria would make a fantastic addition to an active family.
Bria is a Staffy x we think Beagle weighing just 19 kilos
Bria has many favorite things:
- Soft toys
- Zoomies
- Food
- Walks
- A game of tug
- Kisses galore
Bria loves attention from anyone. On walks, her tail starts wagging as soon as she spots someone in the distance. She enjoys human company and loves nothing more than a snuggle on the couch with her favorite people. Bria has even been down to the local footy, where she was great and confident around crowds and children. Initially, she was a little jumpy when she first arrived, but who wouldnât be after getting out of that miserable pound? She has quickly learned to sit for pats and is eager to show her affection.
Bria would be a joyful, loving addition to any home, bringing energy, affection, and lots of fun.
Bria, being a young girl, is still learning her manners but is eager to learn. She has mastered commands like sit and drop, and has almost perfected wait, come, off the bed, mat, and sit and wait at the door. Such a clever girl.!
Bria would benefit from a family to continue her training and socialization to bring out the best in her. She is practicing recall on a long lead but has not been off-lead unless the area is fully enclosed.
Bria would love a young, active male to hang out with as she is always up for a game of chase or mouthy play. She likes to say hello to all dogs, big and small, but does not like overly dominant dogs. Currently, she is living with two large males and another female without any issues, always trying to instigate some sort of play. She loves nothing more than curling up with the resident big boy for a snooze.
Bria is comfortable spending time outside during the day, occasionally barking. She interacts well with the other hounds, either snoozing or playing to keep herself entertained. She has shown no destructive behavior, except for the occasional soft toy destroyed during a game of tug. Bria sometimes sleeps outside with her mate, demonstrating her versatility.
Bria is at an ideal weight and currently eats high-quality puppy food, She enjoys raw bones and other high-value chews. Bria is polite around food and always supervised during mealtimes. Her carer can touch and pat her while she eats without any signs of resource guarding.
Bria has a short, easy-to-care-for coat. She has had a few accidents inside, which is not unusual for dogs in a new environment. She has learned to use the doggy door but does require toileting in the morning and before bed to prevent accidents. Recently, she has been using the doggy door more
Bria used to sleep outside without any issues but has now discovered the comfort of the inside doggy bed. She prefers this cozy spot and sleeps soundly through the night.
Bria enjoys car trips, especially to the park. She eagerly jumps in and out of the car and stays settled in the back seat during travel.
Bria is a moderately active person who loves her daily walks. True to her breed, she loves to sniff around with her nose to the ground. She walks well on a lead without pulling and is treat-motivated, which helps in practicing commands. She has been exposed to chickens, bikes, and trains without any reaction, indicating her calm demeanor
Bria is like a gem inside the home, being well-mannered and adaptable. Her preference for the couch is understandable but manageable with redirection to her mat.
Bria would thrive in a family environment with older children who can handle her excited jumping at times . A family committed to her ongoing training, socialization, and exercise needs would be ideal. While she enjoys the company of a male playmate, she can also be an only dog if given enough attention and stimulation.
An active family interested in including her in various doggy adventures and who can accommodate her inside the home would suit her well. Apartment living might not be ideal due to her activity level, and a smallish backyard could work depending on how much time she spends alone.
Overall, Bria would flourish in a loving, active, and engaged household that can meet her physical and emotional needs.
