About Alice - Located in Preston
Curiouser and curiouser! Greetings, fellow adventurers! I’m Alice, a delightful tuxedo kitty looking for my furrever home where the magic never ends. Imagine all the wonders of Wonderland wrapped up in one adorable, whisker-twitching package—yours truly! I’m not just fun and sweet, but smart and cheeky too, with a penchant for the extraordinary.
Do you fancy a game of croquet? While flamingos might be in short supply, I’m more than happy to play with ping pong balls, which bounce in the most delightful way. And speaking of bouncing, I have a grand time chasing after white rabbits—though I must admit, they're rather good at the disappearing act!
I absolutely adore smooching with my humans, curling up on the couch for a cozy nap, and indulging in delicious treats. Adventures are my specialty, whether it's exploring a curious new corner of your home or inventing whimsical games. If you have a friendly resident cat, that’s simply splendid! I’d love a partner in crime for my escapades. But if it’s just you and me, don’t worry—I’m quite capable of having solo adventures too.
In my purrfect world, every day is a new chapter in our shared story. So, if you’re ready for some delightful nonsense and heartwarming cuddles, step through the looking glass and take me home. Together, we’ll create a Wonderland of our very own!
Love,
Alice 💕

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
