About Rosie
If you are interested in Rosie, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/3bTG6XWQv49RPxJV6
Meet Rosie, one of the smallest greyhounds out there and the perfect blend of gentleness and enthusiasm! This loveable character would be comfortable in either an apartment or home setting. Rosie is toilet-trained and requires two short strolls each day to keep her content before she settles down to laze the day away.
Initially, you may notice Rosie gets a little excited at first meetings, giving a couple of little jumps to express her joy, but she's already under training to maintain her composure during those thrilling first moments with new friends. Rosie currently enjoys the company of a greyhound brother, but she shows independence and would manage solo just as well. She would be a delightful companion for older, respectful children.
Known for her excellent behaviour, Rosie walks great on the lead without pulling and sleeps through the night with no issues. She wouldn't mind bustling city noise or passing cars but rather relishes her regular walks, and loves to cordially greet people she encounters. With not much interaction with other breeds, Rosie maintains a polite interest during her outdoor adventures. Moreover, she is an excellent choice for new dog owners considering her gentle temperament and adaptability.
Rosie loves her meals, making her very responsive to training. The foster carers vouch for her affectionate nature:
"She is the most affectionate dog we’ve had, loves a cuddle and pat and loves attention. She’s incredibly friendly. She’s a great eater and will eat anything she’s given, sleeps well over night but once she hears you wake she’s up and greeting you on the side of the bed to say good morning and get pats and give kisses if allowed. She loves going in the car too, but does need to be lifted up into it (lucky she’s so light). We just love her temperament, she has a kind heart and is very loving"
Did we mention that Rosie can sit? She is truly an unforgettable friend with a kind heart. And the best part is, she's ready for a loving new family who can enjoy her unlimited affection. With Rosie by your side, every day is sure to be brighter. Don't miss this opportunity to add some true 'Rosie' cheer to your life!
