About Smokey
Smokey is a sweet male piggy who is 1 and a half years old. As an entire male he is only looking for a male friend to keep him company. He is such a loving little cuddle bug who absolutely deserves an amazing forever home.
Smokey enjoys lounging on his humans but desperately needs a friend to talk and play with. He is now ready to be adopted by a loving new family. He is known to lick the skin of his hoomans, so if you don’t prefer piggy kisses, this smoochy boy may not be for you.
Smokey enjoys rest time in a cuddle cup, cuddle sack or mushroom hidie. He also loves to jump up on the day bed for some relax time!
He will stand up at the cage door and stare at you when he hears the fridge door open. He loves the simple things in life such as fresh dry barley hay, celery, cos lettuce, carrot and freshly picked grass! 🥬 🥕

Adoption details
Qld Guinea Pig Refuge holds open days at the Albany Creek Scout Den in North Brisbane on the first and third Saturday of each month. All adoptions require pre-approval and your application form should be submitted for processing at least two days prior.
The adoption fee for our guinea pigs is $25 each. Desexed guinea pigs are $35 each. They come fully health checked; worm and mite treated; and have been living at their foster carer’s house where they receive handling time.

Qld Guinea Pig Refuge is a guinea pig shelter dedicated to helping mistreated, abused, and unwanted guinea pigs in Queensland. To ensure they live a happy and healthy life, our guinea pigs are rehabilitated under our no euthanasia policy and then adopted under our strict adoption policy.
