About Niylah
A bit of a diva who is sweet & affectionate...
Meet Niylah,
Niylah is independent, friendly & very talkative. She is super confident and social, she loves to make friends and is very affectionate. We had a rough time taking photos of her because she is so chatty! All she wanted to do was talk & strut!
She is suitable for first time cat owners, or those with experience. She is super easy-going so would be a purrfect fit for any household environment.
She is open to meet kids of any age as she loves to be picked up, carried, cuddled and showered with affection & attention.
Niylah is curious about the other cats in the cattery & has met & made a few friends, so she is open to meeting/living with cats in her new home. We always encourage a slow & gradual interaction though.
As we cannot test in this environment, it is hard to tell if she will be ok to live with or meet dogs, however based on her reaction to hearing the dogs was enough to let us know that dogs are a no-go for her.
We would say that Niylah is best to be an indoor only cat, she was placed in our cat park & enjoyed taking in the sights & smells, but the sound became a little overwhelming for her & she started stressing. We think she would be very happy being indoors only & being confident in the comfort & safety of her new home instead.
Niylah is not interested in toys, she just wants your love & attention.
Niylah is not fussy & will eat whatever is on offer and she loves Dine Creamy Treats! She is also a very tidy girl & always uses her litter tray.
If you're looking for a cat that you can have a conversation with then Niylah is your girl! See her photos for proof of one chatty catty!
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
