About Hester
Hester has come along to melt your heart. Her lovely calico marking and beautiful face compliment a lively and affectionate personality that would make a wonderful first pet.
She is so playful. Anything that moves is fair game - a piece of ribbon or bright coloured cord is a favourite toy. She will endlessly chase where you drag it or happily tangle herself in it for her own entertainment. Hester is used to climbing the heights of scratching towers, out on our cat proof patio in the sun and she gives our cat tunnels a work out too. She is content playing with other cats as well, especially her brother Hardy.
While she is very energetic and lively, when she is tired she is fond of sleeping on peoples laps. She purrs when stroked and I believe will develop into an affectionate adult cat. She currently is socializing with 3 adult cats and her brother. She is very good at respecting the boundaries of the other cats, making offers to play but never territorial. She has not yet encountered dogs or small children.
Big noises (such as vacuum cleaners) are scary to her right now. She loves exploring narrow and small areas, so considering places she could escape/get stuck in is a must. She is not fussy with food and especially loves cat milks. She reliably uses clumping clay litter.
She would love to be adopted with her brother Hardy, if it were possible.
She has never been apart from him, and they do everything together.
Another cat or kitten in her adopted household may make her more at home.
