About Marshmallow
Delight in your days with Marshmallow, a lovable companion who's as fluffy, cuddly, and loving as his name suggests! At about 18 months old, Marshmallow's features are simply breathtaking. His alluring bright blue eyes and striking contrasting chocolate brown markings on his face and paws against his beautiful fluffy white coat create an undeniable appeal.
Marshmallow has three main points of interest - loving hugs, engaging playtime with toys (especially chasing ping pong balls), and, of course, food! On the flip side, he isn't a big fan of others cats, and is not very fond of traveling in a car.
Known for his undeniable affection towards humans, Marshmallow takes pleasure in tailing people he cherishes. He loves to stop for a pat and sits on your lap for that extra warmth and love. We call him the toasted Marshmallow because he soaks up all the warmth you can offer!
Kids are more than welcome in his world; the more hugs and cuddles, the better! In regards to other pets, he doesn't mind dogs and would do well in a home with a canine friend, but he definitely wants to be the boss cat, and is not interested in any competition!
Ever since Marshmallow started living with his foster family, there's been a visible transition in him. He was quite lean initially, but his love for food and good nutrition shows in his healthier physique. From a loving but shy cat, Marshmallow has bloomed into a well-mannered and more confident feline. He's still very chilled and loves to be in the reassuring presence of his human family.
Dreaming of the perfect home, we hope to match Marshmallow with a warm and kind household, where he is the only cat. He should be an indoor only guy, basking in the sun, with family members who can't wait to cuddle and shower him with love. Whether with or without children, Marshmallow is ready to bring joy and laughter to his new home.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
