Irvine

*trialling his new home*
irvine has a wonderful nature, gentle and loving like most wolfhounds, although he is much shorter and stockier in build than a pure wolfhound. He is a very polite gentleman and would like nothing more than someone to hang around with all day long. Irvine is currently in foster care with several other large dogs and enjoys both canine and human company. We can't say what his bark is like, because we've never heard a peep out of him. He is a very deep sleeper so probably better with older children who wouldn't disturb him while he sleeps. Irvine enjoys a walk (investigating the different smells) and loves his food. He will also play a little, and likes to carry around a soft toy in his mouth, ready for a game of tag. Due to his age he is a little stiff in the joints so needs to be an inside dog so he isn't over-exposed to the cold. He would suit a retired person or someone who is home most of the time who wanted a faithful companion at their side. If you are interested in one of our dogs please complete an application form.
