Penny

Meet Penny. She is a soft and gentle older girl with a love for the simple comforts of life. A soft bed and a nice sunbeam are all she needs for a wonderful day to herself. Penny is a lady who likes to take things slow, and takes her time to get to know people before opening up. Starting her in a small launch room to help her get adjusted, and providing some hidey-holes both high and low through her new home so she can feel safe, would be the best way to start her journey into a new home. Once she is settled and knows that you are a trusted friend, Penny loves gentle affection. Chin scritches and soft cheek rubs are a favourite, and she will purr up a storm when she is feeling happy and safe. Penny is not a big fan of other cats and would love to be in a single-cat house only. She will thrive with people who can read cat body language and know when she needs her space. A new family with older children would be better suited to Penny's needs as young ones may be a little overwhelming for Penny's delicate nature.
