About Eggsy
Eggsy is a strikingly handsome 4-year and 6-month-old ginger tabby with a personality as vibrant as his coat. This independent feline prefers to do his own thing, making him the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a free spirit. While Eggsy enjoys a good cuddle and pat, he firmly believes in keeping all four paws on the ground-being picked up is just not his style.
Ideally suited to a farm environment, Eggsy thrives where he has the freedom to explore and hunt, returning home for his dinner and to relax on the couch after a day's work keeping the mice population in check. His ideal home would be one without young children, as Eggsy values his space and prefers a quieter atmosphere. Teenage kids might be acceptable, provided they understand his preference for staying grounded.
Eggsy would love to have the farm all to himself, so no other cats, please. This super stunning and loving boy is simply looking for the right home where he can be the independent king of his domain while still receiving the affection and care he deserves.
If you're seeking a loyal, independent companion who enjoys the great outdoors and a cozy spot indoors, Eggsy is your perfect match.
To book a meet and greet with Eggsy please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
