About Caesar - 1 Year Old Spoodle (Trial)
Caesar is looking for that extra special human whose attributes are empathy, gentleness, kindness, understanding and who has the patience of a saint.
Caesar is standard poodle size, has a super curly coat, he runs with a spring in his step and quite likes a good gangly zoomie around the back yard, so he would really love a decent yard to throw himself around and burn some puppy energy in his new home please.
Caesar is very gentle in nature, he is happy and playful with his puppy sibling and loves his toys, especially if they make a crackly sound. He also likes to gather items of all sorts and bundle them up in a pile, so if you are missing something you will know where to look for it. Being a Poodle he is smart, teachable, has a willingness to learn and he thrives on routine.
Caesar is a night owl and comes alive at night, so he needs to be kept awake mostly and busy throughout the day, so he sleeps well at night.
He has had a sheltered life till now and is timid, shy, and afraid of his new world, but he is being brave, is learning to trust humans and is slowly coming out of his shell.
Caesar needs TIME to learn, grow, adjust, experiment, and explore slowly, carefully, and safely in his time. He will need 3 -6 months to settle into his new home properly which must be a perfect fit for his needs so that he does not digress. Please understand...
Caesar doesn’t know any commands YET; he won’t come if called but if you sit down somewhere quiet (at the computer) he will come in the room quietly and sit on his bed.
He has learnt the doggy door and must have one in his new home so he can go outside to toilet but sometimes as puppies do, he has an occasional accident inside.
Caesar would love and benefit from having a doggy sibling who is young, playful, well adjusted and dog friendly.
He currently sleeps under or on his foster carers bed but would benefit from crate training.
He is non shedding and will need regular 6 weekly grooming, so please allow this in your budget.
Please keep in mind he is still a puppy and has a lifetime to learn.
