About Chestnut
Meet Chestnut, a soft, sweet, gentle Angel who loves nothing more than one on one time with her hoomans.
Chestnut has a loving and gentle personality. She is independent and will take moments out of her day to chill in the sun or in her car tower but this doesn’t last long and your lap and arms are demanded when she is ready to be loved on for the 10th time for the day.
She is quite vocal and loves to express her kitty needs but also returns the favour by wanting to know how your day has gone and it becomes quite an effortless 2 way conversation with this gentle girl.
Chestnut is more of an independent girl and would prefer a forever home where she’s the only queen of the house.
Chestnut desires a forever home that is looking to take their pet companionship to the next level, where her forever home is relaxing, loving and her fur-parents are home more often than not. She will make a great addition to a family with kids that will respect her boundaries and give her the space to integrate into her forever home.
I feel she will also adjust well with more of a quiet natured dog.

BD Fur-Rescue does not have a physical location so therefore we ask that you fill out an application form to adopt one of our beautiful feline souls.

Our adoption process aims to ensure a long lasting relationship for you and your adopted feline friend.
Following the submission of your application, BD Fur-Rescue can then make a balanced judgement to see if your lifestyle will suit one of our fosters.
There are no right or wrong answers, these questions are purely aimed at assisting us find the perfect companion for you and fur-ever home for our fosters.
Once your application is submitted and reviewed (please click here https://www.bigdollansfurrescue.org/pages/adopting to submit your application), a foster carer will contact you via phone to potentially arrange a meet and greet.
This line of work is purely volunteer based work, so please be patient with the turn around time. We will do our best to respond in a timely manner to keep the adoption process moving forward as quickly and smoothly as possible.
