About Sheila
Please meet gorgeous “Sheila”
Sheila is one of a litter of 6 pure bread kelpie pups. They are working line kelpies and have a good worker mum and dad.
Sheila is a lovable larrikin; she loves her toys (especially teddys). She would love to join a family who will take her on adventures or dog agility or even to work on a farm where she will have ample space to run and play/or work.
Sheila is a typical clever kelpie, she has already learnt a number of commands such as sit, wait for food, down, come, and spin. Sheila is crate trained and toilet trained and will make a wonderful family dog.
It is a condition in our adoption agreement that all our dogs are to be taken through obedience training to ensure they reach their full potential.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have an large secure yard or acreage.
• Sheila will not be alone for more than 8 hrs
• You will enrol Sheila in obedience training.
• You will allow Sheila to be part of the family and will allow her access to indoors with you.
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please provide the name of the obedience club you will be attending.
PLEAS NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.

Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
