About Trouble
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Trouble sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Meet our charming feline friend, Trouble - a long, sweet bundle of joy who's ready to fill your life with fun and laughter. Don't be fooled by his name; he is anything but trouble! He's an intelligent and playful domestic cat with an infectious zest for life, making him the perfect companion for those who appreciate the lively spirit of cats.
Always seeking your attention with a medley of delightful meows, Trouble has mastered the art of charming his way into your heart. And if you try and ignore him, expect a cute playful nibble in return! His favourite pastime is to envelop you with head butts and snuggles, whether you're sitting on the couch or just lounging around. He does, however, have a knack for finding food scraps in the bin, so keep an eye on his food intake, as he has a tendency to do very well with just a little extra.
Trouble’s day runs on a strict schedule: a hearty breakfast at 9 am, followed by playtime and a nap, then dinner at 5 pm, and a late-night snack at 10 pm. He loves to chase his pink mouse on a string, tangle with shoelaces, and basically snack on anything tasty, so he is both easy and fun to entertain!
Trouble carries an irresistible charm, even when he's running around with the zoomies and unintentionally bumping into things. His relaxed, carefree nature is ever so evident when you pick him up and he just flops in your arms, staring into your eyes with absolute trust.
For Trouble to truly thrive, he would prefer to be an only cat. Since there is so much of him to love, he's sure you wouldn't need anyone else. His easygoing nature means that he will easily adapt to any home. And, being such a big cat, Trouble prefers a large litter box and a household without other resident cats.
So, are you looking for an affectionate, playful, and completely charming companion? Look no further, Trouble is waiting to bring a whirlwind of happiness and joy into your life. If you've got a warm home with a little outside space, and if you love a cat's company, Trouble is ready to be a part of your life.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
Home2Home currently operates a pay-what-you-can system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose the adoption fee amount that is most suitable for their situation. The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Following adoption - change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on listing) will be provided.
