About Bingo
Hi my name is Bingo, I’m a 1 year and 2 month old Tibetan Spaniel x
I and many others, came into care a few weeks ago from a backyard breeder and we were very timid and unsure when we arrived.
Over the first week in care the other dogs and I started to explore and get some confidence, my foster mum says I'm still the most timid out of the others and I just need to settle in my permanent home and see how loving some people can be.
As I have been in care and getting to learn how to be a family furbaby, my foster mum tells me I'm an old soul, I'm unsure what she means by that, but I think she means I like to access a situation before I join in but then once I'm comfy I'm good. I hope my new family will give me a chance to settle and gain my confidence with them. Loud noises do make me nervous.
My foster mum says that I am starting to blossom, it may take me a few moments to get comfy when I first meet you, but after that your lap is my favorite spot to be in if your sitting.
I would like to go to a home with another dog or two they help me gain confidence and play with me.
I need a home where there is someone home more often than not, or a home where people work from home or a retired person who wants to spend the time with me and I am able to spend as much time with my humans – I would happily be your shadow 24/7 – I have been known to even be s focused on how happy I am that I will just happily walk behind my mum into the shower – my tail wagging a mile a minute!
I am not tested on cats
I am child friendly
I came into care not used to walking on a lead I'm still very nervous so it's something that my new family would need to work with me, or be happy and content that i would be a stay in my home and enjoy life that way.
I would love to be able to have the opportunity to sleep either in a dog bed in a bedroom or on a humans’ bed would be great - I make an incredible hot water bottle.
I am toilet trained but if I can’t get outside I will have an accident in the house.
I am happy to have access to inside and out side during the day (I like to sleep inside on my dog bed where I’m happy ) – I love to be able to have access outside during the day to sniff and explore and then inside when I’m ready for a nap.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
