About Boof
***WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE LOOKOUT FOR FOSTER CARERS TO HELP US OUT SO IF YOU THINK YOU CAN PROVIDE A TEMPORARY HOME FOR ONE OF OUR BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS PLEASE LET US KNOW. THE MORE CARERS WE HAVE AVAILABLE TO LEND A HAND THE MORE ANIMALS WE CAN HELP REHOME***
It's hard to believe that this handsome little angel was on death row waiting for his execution not long ago. At the time he was located at the pound in NSW and was on the list to be euthanized due to overcrowding :( But one of our amazing foster careers saw his story posted online and just had to save him. They jumped at the opportunity to save his life and arranged for him to be transported down to Victoria where he is now living a happy life and is all smiles.
They reached out to us to help advertise him and we were of course more than happy to help :)
Boof is one of the sweetest, kindest and gentlest dogs you will ever meet in your lifetime. He absolutely adores people and wants nothing more than to play, be loved and bask in the warm glow of your affection.
He is also incredibly well behaved and both his foster carer and the ranger that transported him down south describe him as faultless. He doesn't dig, doesn't bark or pull the washing off the line, he doesn't destroy his bedding and you can even put your hand in his feeding bowl while he's eating. He's an absolute angel.
Boof is very cuddly and super loving, likes to play silly games with you and enjoys his toys. He needs a bit of training but can be walked on a lead, is very responsive to your commands and will listen intently to your your voice when you're talking to him. He also loves other dogs and is currently having a great time running around with the female dog of the household.
We believe Boof never been on lead previously and we are presently working with a Professional Trainer to overcome his excitement when out in the big world. He is a powerful dog and will pull when excited so he needs an experienced hand. Elderly owners would not be ideal.
Boof also enjoys car travel but has obviously never been in a car before as he gets over excited when going anywhere. The trip home coming home is much quieter and more restrained but his car manners aren't great and he still needs a lot of training.
He has also been tested with other cats and dogs and has proven to be a gentle soul. He is great with other animals when chilling indoors. We would however recommend keeping an eye on him when he's outside with cats or other small animals as he is full of energy and loves to play chasey.
We would love to find a home for him with a loving person who has a big secured yard where boof has heaps of room to run, play and investigate. But also a home where he could come inside as he loves people and will be wanting to curl up with you and have a cuddle.
Preferably someone who is dog savvy, without young kids, and who would be happy to walk him often to alleviate the boredom. If you have a dog already that likes other dogs that would be ideal as we know Boof would love a companion to play with.
We cannot stress enough how gentle and loving this little angel is. He has not put a foot wrong since arriving in foster care and would make the perfect addition to any household seeking a beautiful natured K9 companion.
Boof is approximately 3 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He had a vet check recently and is in great health. He weighs 35.6kg and we believe he is a Bull Arab possibly crossed with a boxer.
He will come with his flashy coat and enough food to help him settle into his new home and is available for adoption right now.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous fella with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with him.

A little about us:
Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.
Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.
We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
We have recently created a Go Fund Me towards this end so if you would like to donate towards our cause please follow the below link.
