About Petey
Introducing Petey!
Petey is a domestic short hair born approx 24th November 2021.
Petey has been with us since the beginning of May. He was brought into us as a "feral street cat", however this is very much not the case. Petey has clearly been someone's beloved pet, but unfortunately he wasn't microchipped & no one came looking for him.
Petey is an incredibly affectionate & sweet boy. He loves everyone he meets & loves a cuddle. He doesn't seem to mind being carried for small distances. Petey loves having his head, cheeks & ears rubbed and it instantly turns him into a purry pants.
He doesn't seem to be overly playful with toys as he's too focused on being loved on.
Petey has been socialised with other cats at the facility and he now gets along with everyone. Petey could be suitable to live with another independent cat, however we feel he would prefer to be the spoilt only "child" at home.
Petey will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an inside cat only.
Petey is litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.
If you think you could be that furever family for Petey, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
His adoption fee is $200 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registrations. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Petey is currently located in East Maitland and he is looking forward to meeting you.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
