About Maya
ASSISTED REHOME
Maya is a beautiful ex Tiki girl looking for a new home due to health issues of her owners. We’d like to try and rehome her directly from her loving family before requiring to bring her into care to make the transition easier for Maya. You may remember Maya arrived into Tiki’s care a couple of years ago after a very rough start to life, unexpectedly expecting and at a very young age had already had a litter before coming into care. Well she raised those pups beautifully and saw them all off to amazing homes and then scored herself a wonderful home.
Sadly now her family’s circumstances have changed and Maya is looking for a home where she can be a treasured family member. Maya loves her humans and she is great with kids, she’d love to be a family dog and have a child or two to rumble with. She’s a real snuggle bug and loves to be loved, her favourite time of the day is cuddling on the lounge with her Mum in the evening. She loves a walk and being a young, strong girl, needs a regular walk but can get distracted easily, so an experienced walker is needed for Maya. When she's out and about Maya does not like other dogs coming up to her, more fear than anything else but she is definitely not suited to off leash dog areas just daily walks with her person would be perfect. Maya is a great only dog, she gets along fine with other dogs but likes to be in control and doesn't like to be bothered by them.
She's happy to share her space but dogs who are looking for a play mate or want to be surrounded by dog love aren't her vibe. If you think you have room in your heart and home for this precious girl please make contact to arrange to meet her.
Maya is located on the Central Coast NSW

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
