About Bart
Bart is a beautiful, well-mannered fellow who epitomises the phrase ‘lap dog’. He loves cuddles, naps on the couch and yes, definitely your lap. He’s friendly & social and just adores ‘his’ people.
Bart is a petite mini poodle fellow (4.6kg) and is well adjusted to the inside life. Of course he loves the outdoors too, but his yard needs to be dog-proofed (no gaps) or else he could easily escape. Ideally, Bart would be happiest in a home with another small dog, as this is what he is used too. Bart’s family are relocating overseas and sadly, he can’t go with them.
Bart has a lovely black non-shedding/hypoallergenic tightly curled coat (he’s like patting a merino) and would need grooming in the warmer months to keep him comfortable. He is fully housetrained and immaculately clean inside. Bart is a pleasure to walk on the lead & happily trots beside you.
Bart is a fab size to be an active family member- super light, easy to take anywhere, no anti-social behaviours to stress about and just generally hassle free. He doesn’t need a strict or laborious exercise regime either.. out and about with you and following his people around the house or in the garden will be plenty.
He is fantastic with kids of all ages and has a lovely gentle, kind nature. Not rough, snappy, obnoxious or destructive.
All the hard work is done with Bart and he is ready to head to a new home!
If you can offer Bart a kind and loving home please send an enquiry through via PetRescue telling us a bit about yourself, your home and your lifestyle.
Medical notes
Bart is in excellent health- he is desexed, up to date with vaccinations and has been vet checked.

Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer a dog.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in most cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
Please also let us know where the dog will sleep and if it will be welcomed inside.
