Sakura

Sakura had one of the most unusual beginnings – she was born in a 24 hour gym. Like so many stray cats, she fell pregnant early which led to the turning point in her life - she came into foster care, with her three kittens.

Her kittens have all found their forever families, and now it is Sakura’s turn to be adopted – it has just been taking much longer than anyone expected. She has been in care since March 2024 and we do not know why, because like so many black and white cats, she is a great house cat and an absolute star.

Sakura is very much a kitten at heart and loves playing, especially with younger cats or those channelling their inner kitten. Her favourite game is chasing and chatting with the stick toy. She is a born comedian, confident and funny, and has a hilarious habit of sliding up and down the hallways on her foster carer’s shoes. When she is not zooming around, Sakura is always close by her humans and ready for a big pat and a snuggle. She absolutely adores attention and is comfortable with being picked up for cuddles.

Sakura is currently in foster care with several other cats and dogs, and she enjoys the company of her feline and canine friends. Ideally, her forever home would include a friendly cat companion, but she would also thrive as an only cat in a home where her humans are around often or she has a friendly dog to befriend. In her foster home, she gets along very well with two kittens Hugo and Giorgio, and would love to be adopted with one of them.

Sakura is a good eater with no known allergies and always uses her litter tray perfectly.
