About Maxwell
💕Ahoy There! Meet Maxwell, Your Feline First Mate!💕
Microchip: 991003002664765
Location: Horsley Park, NSW
This handsome fella is Maxwell, a former friend of Captain Jack Sparrow (or at least that's the story he tells!). Rescued by a kind soul, Maxwell was initially a bit shy, but has come out of his shell in a big way.
Now, Maxwell is a purr machine who thrives on cuddles! He'd love to be your loyal companion and snuggle up on your lap for movie nights or lazy afternoons.
Here's why Maxwell would be the purrfect addition to your crew:
Swashbuckling good looks: Maxwell might not have a pirate hat, but his black velcet coat are sure to turn heads.
From shy to snuggly: Maxwell has blossomed into a loving and affectionate cat.
A master cuddler: Get ready for some serious purr therapy sessions!
Ideal adopter:
Someone who can offer a loving and stable home.
Can provide Maxwell with plenty of head scratches and lap naps.

Adoption details
At Furever After Rescue Incorporated, our mission is to find Furever Loving Homes for every pet we rescue. We ensure a perfect match by placing our cats in suitable indoor environments, either strictly indoors or with secure outdoor enclosures (all areas must be enclosed). This protects both your cat, and the local wildlife.
Our thorough adoption process includes:
Adoption form: Provides us with essential information about your lifestyle and suitability for cat ownership.
Phone interview: Allows us to discuss your expectations and answer any questions you may have.
Video or physical house inspection: Ensures your home provides a safe and comfortable environment for the cat.
2-week trial period: Gives you and the cat time to adjust and bond before finalizing the adoption.
Adoption fee: Helps cover the costs of veterinary care for our rescued animals.
Please note: From July 2021, desexed animals adopted from rehoming organizations, are eligible for free NSW Lifetime Registration. Furever After Rescue Incorporated has been designated as a rehoming organisation under Section 88B of the Companion Animals Act 1998, as such your pet’s lifetime registration of your new friendly feline is waived.
All our cats come microchipped, desexed, minimum 1st vaccination (depending on age), flea-treated, wormed and with a NSW Lifetime Registration.
Here's how to register your pet:
Create an account on the NSW Pet Registry: Registering your pet with the NSW Pet Registry is mandatory. We'll guide you through the process.
https://www.petregistry.nsw.gov.au
(PS: If located in another state, please contact your states local council to link the microchip to your name)
Link the microchip to your account: Link your new pet's microchip number to your NSW Pet Registry account within 14 days of receving the cat into your care.
Update your personal contact details regularly: Ensure your contact information is current to facilitate pet recovery in case they get lost.
As a thank you for adopting, we offer Royal Canin discount vouchers redeemable at participating pet stores and online. There's no further obligation to purchase.
Ready to welcome a furry friend into your life?
Fill out our adoption form, and we'll be happy to review your application.
Please note: Refunds are not provided for cats returned within the 2-week trial period as they haven't been given sufficient time to adjust. $50 admin fee will apply if a refund is approved after this period. A surrender fee may also apply if you return the cat into our care later in the future.
