DESCRIPTION: Black and white, mid-size, beautiful facial features and gorgeous ears. Long tail to go with her long body. Short hair that does not shed too much unless rough playing.
PERSONALITY: She loves going for walks in public, on the beach, at the park, hiking, running beside you. She loves to play tug o war with whoever is offering to play! Poppy is a very energetic dog that loves her play time. Once she is finished, she loves her down time and a cuddle. Poppy is a real snuggle buddy who loves to cuddle you in bed at night to keep warm & will stay there all night. Will also sleep on dog bed. She is a very good eater & will eat whatever is put in front of her, but being a puppy she will also chew on whatever you leave lying around on the floor so be careful with your shoes!.
Loves her shower or bath, getting used to nail cutting and ok with being brushed.
SUITABLE HOME: Suit any lifestyle with another 4 legged companion to keep her busy &/or someone who has time to attend to her needs such as daily walks and other activities.
OTHER TRAITS:
She is now comfortable to be left outside during the day if you prefer to have her outside when not home.
Poppy is still very weary of new people/places but with positive encouragement and cuddles and reassurance it does not take her long to show her true playful loving nature.
Poppy has been exposed to all ages of children and dogs. So far every meeting has gone well.
Poppy walks on lead and tries her best to stay by your side.
Recall is very good when we have taken her to off lead beaches.
She is a very smart girl and has not taken long to learn new things like ‘sit’ or ‘ stay’ or ‘wait’ or ‘no’.
You can touch her food while eating and she will not react.
Eats her flea,tick and work chew on its own. No need to hide in food.

Adoption details
-You contact us to obtain an adoption application and discuss the dog of interest.
Once the application is completed and returned it will be assessed for suitability. We will also ask for rental agreements or rates and photos our your home please also including photos of your fencing
-A Meet and Greet with the dog and all members of the adopting family and current dogs are arranged where possible.
This usually coincides with a Yard check to ensure the safety and security of the property on which the dog will be kept. - We understand that this is not always possible in interstate adoptions and this will be discussed on your initial contact.
-Payment of the Adoption fee in full. The dog is then handed over with any belongings, and all relevant paperwork and records please note we do have contracts in place that must be signed.
-Once the 14-day 'settling in' period has ended, the change of ownership microchip details are submitted, and the adoption is officially finalised.
For interstate adoptions- Adoptor must have a meet and greet with the animal they are adopting we will not send an animal over without a meet. All transport cost including flights will need to be paid in full by the adoptor.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
