On Hold
Meet Ayla, a 1-year-old desexed female Tonkinese mix cat with a stunning blue tabby point coat and mesmerizing blue eyes. This sweet, sensitive, and affectionate lady is ready to find her forever home with the right adopter who understands her needs. To set Ayla up for success, she should be started in a small launch room and given time to settle before exploring the rest of the house. She can become easily overwhelmed in large open spaces, so providing scratch posts, cat trees, hides like cardboard boxes and cat igloos, and access to shelves and dressers will give her ample safe spaces to retreat to.
A patient and understanding adopter is recommended, as Ayla may be timid initially and take some time to show her true self. Teens or older children who can read basic cat body language and know when to give Ayla space would be ideal companions for her. Ayla also has a soft spot for chicken and plenty of love to give to the right family.
