About Saturn
This is Saturn, he has been waiting over a year for his forever family to find him! Saturn doesn’t need much, just a large yard and some patience.
If you decide to come and meet him, he won’t rush to greet you, or let you pat him, but if you have faith and take him home, give him 24 hours and a snuggly, affectionate, playful and goofy pup will emerge before you!
This boy’s most favourite thing in the world is to snuggle up with his humans. Big spoon, little spoon, head on your lap, whatever you’ll allow he is up for.
Sadly, it’s clear his past life was one of utter neglect. He was likely very isolated from puppyhood, lacking socialisation from other people or exploring the world outside his home. Because of this, he is very shy with strangers and is scared to leave the house (his safe space). He can be lured easily enough with treats to get him into the car if he needs to be taken somewhere, but he’s so frightened when out on walks that it’s almost cruel to do it. For this reason, he does need a large yard to get out his morning and afternoon energy bursts! He loves to zoom around like an idiot for 10-15 minutes then is ready to nap for the rest of the day!
Saturn is fine to be left alone when needed, is great with other dogs, perfectly toilet trained (he will tap at the door to let you know he needs to go outside) and is crate trained.
If you are seeking a loyal and affectionate companion then you can’t go past this boy. He will steal your heart and the bond you’ll grow together will be unbreakable!
(Note Saturn is currently taking the anxiety medications FLUOXETINE and GABAPENTIN which his new owners will need to continue until at least 3 months in his new home. If you feel he is ready to be weaned off this medication, you must seek veterinary guidance for this).
