About Twix - Located in Northcote
Ciao, darlings! I'm Twix, and let me tell you, I'm all about the fashion of life—bold, sweet, and utterly fabulous! Just look at my tiny face; I mean, who can resist? I was the first of my litter to master the art of purring, and I just keep getting better.
I adore playtime, but let's be honest, cuddles are simply divine. Imagine me perched on your shoulder like a posh little parrot, whispering cat secrets in your ear and tickling you with my fabulous whiskers. Can't you just see me as a chic, cozy scarf in your future?
My curiosity knows no bounds, and I’ll be by your side in whatever adventure we're embarking upon—whether that's exploring a new room or simply lounging in the lap of luxury. I'm all about the attention, warm laps, and delicious treats.
One thing you should know: I always know what I want, and I will pursue it with the confidence of a top model on the runway! I’m ready for someone who has an abundance of love to give, and a playmate or two wouldn't hurt.
Beware, darling—I’m here to steal your heart and wrap you in the most luxurious, cuddly experience. Shall we begin our fabulous journey together? Let's make magic!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
