About Gnocchi - Located in Kew
Oi! I'm Gnocchi, ready to bring some flavor and fun to your home! Me and my brother Pesto were whisked away from the wild streets, and now we're searching for a cozy, warm place to call our own. Listen up, because after a brief moment of worry, I quickly realized that hanging out and playing with my human friends is an absolute blast!
You'll find me following you around the house, politely requesting snuggles and treats—I'm not one to be shy when it comes to getting some love! Meeting other cats is right up my alley, but dogs? They can be a bit much for me. Still, with a slow and proper introduction to a gentle dog, I'm sure we can figure things out.
Now, let's talk about my ideal home. Another feline friend would be smashing—I enjoy the company! But if you have room for both me and my brother Pesto, then we've got ourselves a real party! That said, I can manage on my own as long as you give me all the love and attention I deserve.
So, what do you say? Let's get this show on the road and cook up something special together! You won't regret bringing me into your home. Cheers!

WORLDWIDE CAT VACCINE SHORTAGE
There is currently a worldwide shortage of cat vaccines and supplies are unlikely to be replenished until early 2024. This is due to complicated supply problems post-COVID. Our vets have limited, and in some cases no supplies available, but are prioritising kittens and previously unvaccinated Cats wherever possible.
Kittens are at the highest risk as their level of protection is very low after the initial protection provided by the mother’s antibodies. While protection will wane a little over time, a delay up to three months is unlikely to result in a significant reduction in levels of protection. It is anticipated that clinics should have regular supplies early in the new year to bring your cat back up to date.
First Vaccination completed
We will try to provide at least 1 vaccination, depending on our supplies of vaccines available, however boosters may become overdue. In this case it is your responsibility to contact your vet as soon as supplies become available. We will not be re-imbursing any of this costs.
We require all cats and kittens to be indoors only and not allowed outside. This is especially important now as there is a risk of coming into contact with unknown cats who may not be vaccinated.
No Vaccination completed
Where we are unable to provide any vaccination during their time in care with us, please contact us on 0459779888 or via email to samantha@neko.org.au, and we will arrange for one vaccination to be done at one of our partnering clinics as soon as supplies are available. Boosters after this will be your responsibility.
Please note that should you choose to utilise your own clinic, we will not be re-imbursing any costs. This is your responsibility.
