About Jamie-Lynn
Meet Jamie-Lynn,
Jamie-Lynn is a gentle girl who is agreeable, friendly & outgoing. She is confident and curious and oh-so playful! A lovely little cat who is social & affectionate and just a delight to be around.
Jamie-Lynn is suitable for first time cat owners, or those with experience. And thanks to her easy-going, happy-go-lucky cat-titude she is also suitable for any house or environment!
She is best to be an indoor cat simply because of her level of confidence. She is a girl who knows what she wants & this confidence may also see her roam into unfamiliar territory, exposing her to danger or even getting lost – she would be best inside where she can be confident, but safe!
Jamie-Lynn has previously lived with another cat, in fact she came in with her sister Britney-Jean, however her sisters big personality snuffed out J-Lynns flame – however, we still think that Jamie-Lynn could definitely live with another cat, as she is not a girl that holds grudges, but the introduction should be slow & gradual.
As we cannot test in this environment, we are unsure how Jamie-Lynn would go living with a dog. This would be up to the discretion of her new owners. If you are wanting to introduce her to a dog, we always recommend that the interaction, be slow & controlled.
Jamie-Lynn is open to meet kids of any age too, she loves being picked up & cuddled. Her energy needs are low to medium, as she loves to snooze most of the day but will have boost of energy here and there. Jamie-Lynn loves all toys & doesn’t appear to have a favourite (yet), but she seems to prefer human attention & interaction.
She is not fussy with her food & always uses her litter tray. She’s a very quiet cat apart from her purring and she loves her back & chin being scratched.
Desex: Jamie-Lynn is not desexed yet & there may be a delay in getting her desexed. Staff will advise you of her desex date (if there is one) at the time of adoption or as soon as a date has been booked in.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
