About Britney-Jean
Meet Britney-Jean,
Britney-Jean is a slightly nervous but curious girl, with a lovely affectionate & sensitive side. She is agreeable and friendly, playful & social. Despite her slight nervousness she is confident in who she is and what she wants.
Britney-Jean is suitable for first time cat owners, or those with experience and she is best suited to a calm & quiet home as loud noises can scare her. She is a girl who likes peace & quiet.
Britney-Jean is open to meet kids of any age. She likes being picked up, cuddled and petted all over her body! Brits has low energy needs, preferring to nap or eat over play, however when she does feel the need for speed, she will happily play with any toy presented to her.
As we cannot test in this environment, we are unsure how Britney-Jean would go living with dogs. All that we know is that she very much dislikes the sound of dogs barking, which plays true to her dislike of loud noises in general.
Britney-Jean has previously lived with another cat, in fact she came in with her sister Jamie-Lynn, however her big personality muffled J-Lynns rise to fame and as such they had to be separated in their condos – however, Brits could definitely live with another cat, but she doesn’t appear to like sharing beds, food, toys or litter trays – we would only recommend a second (confident) cat if you like a challenge…
Britney-Jean is best suited to be an inside only cat. Her slight nervousness mixed with the big outside world may spell disaster for Britney-Jean as she may feel very uncomfortable and scared. We would love to see her be inside at all times so that she can reign supreme in the safety of four walls.
Britney-Jean is not a fussy cat when it comes to food. She loves all food that is offered to her, including treats.
Britney-Jean is a quiet cat, who rarely makes a sound and she’s as tidy as can be and always uses her litter tray.
Desex: Britney-Jean is not desexed yet & there may be a delay in getting her desexed. Staff will advise you of her desex date (if there is one) at the time of adoption or as soon as a date has been booked in.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask if that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
