On Hold
About Millie - 3 Month Old Kelpie (Trial)
Millie is a gorgeous little munchkin, who is sister to Bear (also available for adoption).
She is healthy, active and does all the normal things puppies do. Her new family needs to have someone familiar with the Kelpie breed, who will be fully committed to training her properly and giving her lots of time, attention, exercise, and stimulation and who also understands the basic needs of a puppy.
Whilst Millie is a puppy, she would like someone home often to keep a good eye on her, so she doesn’t get up to any mischief.
She sleeps in a crate and is working on toilet training.
A sibling would be nice to share time with and learn from but not essential.
Her new home needs to be completely puppy proofed inside and out with no choke hazards, no small gaps, or unprotected heights he could fall from. Your fences need to be 1.8metres high please so it is secure when she is fully grown.
In brief:
• Crate trained.
• Working on toilet training.
• Needs a very secure yard - no choke hazards, no small gaps, or unprotected heights.
• Needs a family home often whilst a pup.
• Not tested on cats
Millie is in foster care in Cameron Park, NSW. Adoption fee is $700 which includes their desexing when they are old enough. It also includes their first two vaccinations. They have been treated for fleas and worms, and are microchipped.
Since they are not yet desexed, they are only available for adoption in the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. They will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when they are 5 to 6 months old.
