About Venus STA011527
Meet Venus, a stunning beauty with enchanting green eyes. She is reserved by nature, but her gentle personality makes up for any initial hesitance she may show. Venus thrives best in a peaceful home set up with a predictable routine that provides her with comfort and security.
Mysteriously alluring in her timidity, Venus takes her time getting acquainted with new people and surroundings. Once she's warmed up to the idea of a friendly pat, she shows her adorable side. Despite being hesitant, Venus possesses a certain quiet charm that wins over everyone around her.
Venus takes pride in her independence. You can often catch her amusing herself with toys, making her an ideal companion for those who appreciate a more laid-back feline friend. Venus may do well with a confident but calm feline companion to keep each other company.
Unlike climbing cats, our beautiful Venus prefers keeping all of her elegant paws firmly planted on the ground. She's attended the finest cat etiquette classes, where she learned the importance of gentle demeanor and offering polite, respectful affection to her human companions.
Venus enjoys receiving gentle pats and attention, yet she seldom demands it. Her ideal person would be someone who values quiet companionship. As much as she enjoys her own company, she also loves being serenely present for her humans, a peaceful co-existence that she treasures.
Venus is currently in foster care away from the busy shelter life. If you would like more information about her or wish to meet her please contact our Foster Care Co-Ordinator’s -Email foster@catprotection.com.au or Phone 0400 444 734
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
