About Bailey
Meet Bailey, a male Dachshund with an outgoing nature and an irresistible charm. At 5 and a half years old, he's mature, well-behaved, and full of love. With his bright, energetic personality and soulful eyes, expect that it won't take long to fall in love with him.
Bailey thrives on company and enjoys being around both people and other dogs. He is the type of dog who will quickly become your loyal companion, always looking forward to spending time with you. He also walks well on a lead, although he does have a bit of an independent streak when it comes to deciding the route. If Bailey chooses to pass by that enticingly fragrant flower bed, he's likely not going to be easily persuaded to take a different path.
If you have other pets, fret not! Bailey is great with dogs his own size and has previously interacted with cats, generally showing no interest in them, which is a promising indication that he would do well in a multi-pet household. Bailey also adores treats, and his eyes will light up the moment you reach for his favourite goodies.
You won’t have to worry about showering this loving boy with attention. Bailey loves to be around people, a true socialite with a passion for pats and cuddles. He has a bubbly and outgoing nature, quickly making friends with a wag of his tail.
Looking for an affectionate, sociable addition to your family? Bailey could be the new friend you've been waiting for! His blend of charm, enthusiasm, and companionship will quickly secure a special place in your heart and home.
Medical notes
Bailey had a dental scale and clean under GA. He also had multiple extractions due to advanced periodontal disease. He passed his health check
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
