About Maya
Meet Maya
This sweet 11 month old girl came to our care as a surrender. Unfortunately we have no history on her prior as previous owners were not honest with us at time of surrender.
Maya first came to us she was very frightened and wasn’t keen on humans touching her.
With time and patience her carer has managed to get her to a beautiful, loving stage where she is now.
She will however need ongoing support to over come trauma she has had to deal with previously
Maya had a medical condition called Entropion.
She has since had surgery to fix this issue and the surgery was a success.
Maya is great with other dogs big or small.
Slow introduction to new dogs will be needed tho.
Please only apply if -
-you have a yard with grass (no units or town houses)
- you have a patio or pergola (trees aren't shade enough from a storm)
- you have secure fencing
Adoption details
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal aswell.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption and if all goes well that same day, they can adopt on the spot and take home to begin the next chapter together.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed

The site is ran by volunteers who also have work commitments and families of their own.
We are a not for profit rescue organisation run in Victoria.
