About Aggie
Meet Aggie, a delightful one-year-old Dachshund with a heart full of love. This little lady might start off a bit anxious, but once she warms up to you, she'll light up your life with her loving nature.
One of Aggie's adorable quirks is her love for treats. They're not just her favourite snack— they're also the best training tool for her. Her eyes light up at the sight of a yummy reward, and she's always eager to impress you for a tasty treat.
Aggie is a sucker for affection and enjoys gentle pats and cuddles more than anything else. She's a great companion who'll always be eager to spend time by your side. This girl is also a stimulus barker, so she'll keep you on your toes and make sure you never miss a thing.
Aggie flourishes in the company of dogs her size, but larger or barking dogs may intimidate her. Having her own little dog companion would give her confidence and companionship.
A home without cats is ideal because she gets a tad frightened by feline friends. She's been known to observe them from a distance safely.
Aggie's ideal home would be one with a loving, patient family who’ll help her overcome her initial anxiety and bring out her sparkling personality. With another little dog around for companionship and plenty of those favourite treats on hand, she'll truly come into her own. Add in some daily playtime, consistent routines, and gobs of affection, and Aggie will be the happiest pup in town!
If you're looking for a dog who's got a lot of love to give and will quickly become a loyal friend, Aggie is your girl! She's ready to find a family that's just as special as she is.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
