Duckie

Snuggle bug Duckie and her litter mates have been in care with AWL NSW Illawarra since they were only 1 week old and before their little eyes were even open! As a result, we humans were the first thing they saw so they are all super loving and cuddly with their people and very confident in human homes. They have also all been totally adorable, sweet and completely delightful!

Initially Duckie was the loudest of her crew and credited with getting them the human help they needed to be rescued. She had a lot to say and a lot of opinions. However, in foster care it became apparent that she was most likely just calling out looking for comfort and cuddles because Duckie is a super snuggler! She is affectionate to the max. She will lovingly kiss and lick everyone and everything, will climb herself up on to her humans chest for sleeps (her favourite spot) and snuggle in for warm cuddles at every opportunity. She is basically her foster mum's little shadow and also an extremely proficient biscuit maker!

You will be able to see Duckie's very favourite toy in her photos...a blue fish that makes scrunching noises. She get so excited playing with her fish that she turns into an amateur gymnast, practicing the finest tumbles and flips. Interestingly, Duckie seems to get cold ears and likes to snuggle in to get them warm. To be fair, she hasn't quite grown into them yet which probably doesn't help, but only makes her even cuter! Duckie's little half light and half dark face along with her beautiful personality is just one you don't want to scroll past. She is an absolute gem.

All AWL NSW kittens and cats come litter trained, desexed, microchipped and will have received their first vaccination.
