About Dolly and Stripe
Are you looking for an instant family? A package deal? Well say hello to bonded besties, Dolly and Stripe!
These two amigos grew up together, they snooze together, wrestle together and just like hanging out together. Dolly is a little Chihuahua mix and Stripe a Pomeranian mix, Dolly takes the lead on most things and Stripe tags along for the ride, once bonded to their people, they are sweet affectionate little souls who love a good belly rub or a scratch behind the ears.
They have begun playing with toys and showing their cheeky personalities and if you love a little underbite, you will thoroughly enjoy Stripe's silly grin. Both Dolly and Stripe are cautious of new things but once settled into a home and familiar with their people, they are a delightfully funny duo who compliment one another. They are fairly low maintenance and would suit an apartment or home with a little garden to sunbake in.
MY IDEAL HOME: Dolly and Stripe previously lived with an elderly woman and didn't get out a whole lot so can be quite nervous of the new people and dogs, they are best being the only animals in the home in a quiet household who can give them a little space and time to settle.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Whilst they like to play with one another, they aren't high energy dogs. Dolly is fairly indifferent about walks out and about with Stripe loving a little stroll around the neighbourhood. They are fairly chill at home and are spend most of their day snoozing.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Dolly and Stripe can be a little suss on kids and are best in home with kids 12 and up.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: They really prefer to be the only animals in the home, they have each other and making more friends isn't high on their list of priorities.

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
