About Zoe & Bella
Meet Zoe & Bella; two sweet, loving little ladies who would love nothing more than to be part of your family.
These gorgeous girls are Chihuahua x Jack Russell Terriers and have found themselves in foster care through no fault of their own. One of their elderly owners passed away and the other has gone in to care.
It will take a little time for Zoe & Bella to trust you, but once they do, be prepared to have two little shadows following you around and giving you lots of licks, and begging for treats! Be prepared for them to work their way in to your heart very quickly with their earnest adoration of their favourite humans and excited tail wags!
They love to sit in the sun and laze around. However, they are quick to their feet to come and say hello, lay near you whilst you work away and follow you around the house. After a short settling in period, they adapted quickly to the resident dog in their foster home. They truly have been so delightful.
Zoe is the youngest of the two at 11 years young and weighing in at a whopping 2.7kgs, she is a little shyer in terms of being patted but she does love to check in and see where you are. Bella is 13 years young and weighs in at 3.8kgs. She is a little braver of the two and has come out of her shell quicker in foster care. We only tell you their weight to give you an indication of their size, they are pretty tiny!
They are doing really well in terms of toilet training with minimal accidents inside, as long as they have access to outside.
They both have a good appetite and eat well. Their teeth however is in need of a clean, so these lovely ladies will be having a dental and will be ready to go to their new home afterwards, fresh teeth and all!
Both girls have Grade 1 Luxating Patellas on both hind legs. Their foster carer has observed this does not cause them any troubles besides preferring to stay warm, but hey, that could well be the Chihuahua in them. We have started them on 4Cyte, a joint supplement anyway as we do with all of our older dogs.
What we are looking for in a forever home for Zoe and Bella:
- People who are home more often than not
- Being allowed to sleep inside at night is a must.
- If children are in the home, preferably older children (they get scared being picked up)
- People who are not unstable on their feet (as they do get under your feet!)
If you have the patience and the heart to welcome Zoe & Bella in to your home, please complete an online application form at https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html and the carer will contact you if you're suitable.
Medical notes
- Both Zoe & Bella have Grade 1 Luxating patellas on both hind legs. This does not cause them any mobility issues.
- We have started Zoe & Bella on 4Cyte, a joint supplement to assist with joint health.
- Zoe & Bella are in need of dentals and possible teeth extraction. This will be done by All 4 Paws Dog Rescue prior to the girls going to their forever home.
