About Roxy
Meet Roxy, a two-year-old Cocker Spaniel and Springer Spaniel mix. The embodiment of cuteness and charm, this female is arrayed with a blend of qualities that make her an absolutely delightful pet candidate.
Roxy walks well on the lead and enjoys her daily strolls, eagerly exploring her surroundings, nose to the ground, tail wagging in curiosity and pleasure. Encounters with other dogs excite her, and she gets along well with them. Ideally, she would fit well into a home with another friendly dog who is non-confrontational, as she can be a little snappy when challenged or when food is involved.
Proving her easy-going nature, Roxy shows very little interest in cats, making her a great choice for a home with feline members. Once she gets past her initial nervousness, you'll find Roxy to be an incredibly friendly, loving companion. She enjoys receiving pats, turning into a ball of pure joy when shown affection.
Supremely outgoing, Roxy's enthusiasm and affection are infectious. She doesn't take long to warm up to new humans, quickly becoming the life of the party. Despite her initial hesitation when meeting new people, Roxy quickly overcomes any shyness and embraces socializing with both humans and fellow pets alike.
Roxy’s perfect day would start with a brisk morning walk, followed by a hearty meal. Afternoons would involve snoozing merrily away, and playful evenings comprise of numerous belly rubs and cuddle sessions.
In Roxy, you will find a gentle and loving friend, her snuggles and happiness turning any ordinary day into a special one. If you are looking for an addition to your family, that is fun-loving, cuddly and outgoing, Roxy is waiting for her new family eagerly!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
